Inspired by the rich artistic traditions of the Viking Age, this striking wrist torc features intricately twisted bands terminating in a pair of finely detailed boar heads. The boar was a powerful symbol in Norse and Germanic cultures, representing strength, courage, protection, and prosperity. Warriors often carried boar imagery into battle, believing it brought the favour of the gods and safeguarded them in combat.
Crafted in a classic open-ended torc design, this bracelet combines historical inspiration with timeless style. The twisted body creates an attractive rope-like appearance, while the ornate boar-head terminals add character and authenticity. Suitable for Viking reenactment, living history, LARP, or everyday wear, this wrist torc makes a distinctive addition to any collection of historical jewellery.
Size: 7 cm internal diameter
This torc does not bend easily. Simply find the fleshy part at the front of your wrist. It is a few centimeters down between your bones. Place one end of the torc there and push it into your flesh as you slip/roll the rest of the torc around the back of your wrist. Simply repeat this to remove. It is not exactly a comfortable procedure but it will prolong the life of your torc.
