The Valknut symbol appears in connection with Norse mythology. It is comprised of three interlocking triangles.
It is seen on the Nene River Ring, an Anglo-Saxon gold finger ring dated to around the 8th to 9th centuries. It is also carved on a wooden bed from the Viking Oseberg Ship buried near Tønsber in Norway. The Oseberg Tapestry from the same find also features this symbol. Additionally, the valknut appears prominently on two picture stones from Gotland, Sweden: the Stora Hammars I stone and the Tängelgårda stone.
This pendant is supplied on a 42cm cord with metal fittings. Occasionally the metal links can pull apart so please test the links before wearing.
