If you need to display your Templar allegiance, there's no simpler way than donning a Templar surcoat.

Surcoats are the last piece of clothing for a knight's armour. Literally meaning "over coat" (French: sur cote), it is a sleeveless garment that sits over one's main armour, like chainmail or gambeson. It was traditionally dyed in the colours of your allegiance, and the icon of your house or order icon emblazoned upon it. It wasn't exclusive to armour, however, becoming a fashion symbol for both women and men.

This surcoat in particular is one of the Templar Knights. In classic white, with the Crusader's red cross sitting prominently on the breast, there's no mistaking the wearer as anything but Templar. Made from wool, but lined with linen, this surcoat will keep your warm without the annoying itchiness of wool on skin. It is of the classic four flap style: slits around the thighs to allow for freedom of movement and horse accessibility.

Throw this over some chain maille, add some spaulders, a sugarloaf helm with a coif - you've got yourself a bona-fide templar knight!
