Tough as nails I agree wholeheartedly with the previous review.
In the 3 years I've owned and fought in this mail I've haven't lost a SINGLE link. I've never seen mail that stands up to this kind of abuse. Of course it is a bit on the heavy side but that's a compromise I'm happy to make as it also stops blows very well.

You may need to tailor the suit to fit your body and/or your needs. For example I put a split up the front and back. Also the suit I bought was a bit big for me so I needed to tailor the arms a bit to remove excess weight. However this is by far much easier than making it yourself.

Again the only real criticism is the galvanised look of the rings, however many people will appreciate the lack of rust.

Steel yourself... Strong, rivited, fluid mobility, did I mention strong?
This piece of kit is a show stopper. Nothing says 'I know what I'm talking about/I really like history' more than rivited mail. With plenty of room to move, you'll be raiding coasts nonstop.
It is important to get the closest size to you though, as if it's too big, the weight negates the flexability, and a gambeson must be worn underneath, unless you like bruises.
There are ways to make it more historically accurate looking but getting rid of the galvinisation, but be warned, it comes along with the more historicaly accurate rust and maintinence.
